Privacy Policy
Forakis Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is an owner-operated heating, cooling, and refrigeration business in Baltimore, Maryland. This policy explains what information we collect through forakisrefrigeration.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We never sell your personal information.
Information you give us
When you request an estimate or a service visit, the form asks for:
- Your name and phone number
- Your email address (optional)
- The property address and whether it's residential or commercial
- What you need — an install estimate or a service visit — and a description of the job
- Your preferred date and time window (optional)
If you call us, we also have your phone number and anything you tell us on the call.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your request: to call you, schedule and perform the work, prepare estimates, and keep ordinary business records. We don't use it to send marketing messages, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.
Services that help run this site
We rely on a few outside companies, each of which handles some information on our behalf:
- Formspree delivers form submissions to our email inboxes and keeps a copy of each submission.
- GitHub Pages hosts this website and, like any web host, processes basic technical information such as your IP address when you visit.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise with Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. This site uses their tags, which set cookies and use similar technologies, so we can tell whether a visit from one of our ads led to a request form or a tap on our phone number. This helps us spend our advertising budget on what actually brings in customers.
We may also use a feature called enhanced conversions. When you submit the request form, the email address and phone number you provide may be converted into a scrambled code (a "hash") and shared with Google and Microsoft so they can match the request to an ad you clicked. The code can't be turned back into your contact details, and it is used only to measure ad performance.
You can limit this kind of tracking at any time:
- Google: My Ad Center
- Microsoft: Ad settings
- Industry opt-out tools from the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance
- Your browser's settings for blocking or clearing cookies
How long we keep it
We keep request details for as long as we need them to serve you and keep normal business records, such as past job history for warranty and repeat service.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just call us at (410) 633-2094. We'll confirm your request and respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is meant for adults arranging service for their home or business. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
